Andolan is a Queens-based organization founded in 1998 by and for low-wage South Asian immigrant women workers. We provide a supportive space for our members - babysitters, housekeepers, retail service, and restaurant workers - to collectively organize against multiple obstacles of workplace exploitation, xenophobia, and gender discrimination through community organizing, popular education, and litigation.
